Background
One of the production lines at Qingdao Haier Biomedical Co., Ltd. requires the gripping and handling of blood bags. The environmental and temperature requirements for medical products are strict.
Challenge
The original gripping solution for this project was to use suction cups, but the material was liquid bags and usually had a secondary individual packaging and there was a risk of dropping material when gripping.
Solution
The SRT flexible gripper is adaptive to the object and is not limited by the deformation of the liquid bag during gripping. This reduces to a large extent the shaking of liquids during transfer and avoids dropping of material during loading and unloading.
Achievement
Unlike traditional automated industries, SRT's flexible grippers can simulate human hands and have no restrictions on the form or material of the product, successfully optimizing the automated production of liquid products for this company and improving the efficiency of this production line.
